Faced with the potential of having to submit to prednisone because of my ocular myasthenia gravis, I looked for whatever literature exists independent of what physicians promise or promote or admonish. This book to be fair has both. I realize that several others have criticized the author because her prednisone use was not as long as others...but for someone with no experience and a lot trepidation, she provided insights that are critical to determining whether or not to take the drug. And, more importantly, what to expect.
